The much-anticipated list of nominees for the National Film & TV Awards (NFTAs) has finally been revealed, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. Sara Kensington, Global Partnerships Director at the National Film Academy, shared her thoughts on the importance of the NFTAs. These awards provide a platform to showcase our incredible talent to the world and inspire future generations of creators."

    Shining Stars: A Look at Some of the Nominees

    This year’s nominations are filled with some of the biggest names in the industry. Connie Ferguson, a household name in South African entertainment, has scored three nominations, including Outstanding Performance and Celebrity Personality of the Year. It’s a testament to her incredible talent and dedication to her craft.

    Other standout performers include Lawrence Maleka and Kwanele Mthethwa, who have been recognized for their unforgettable performances in the hit series Lobola Man. Their work has resonated with audiences, proving that great storytelling and powerful acting go hand in hand.
